Place for those who have big hunger. Offers variety of burger and you can always ask them the way you want it to be. Staff can speak both japanese & english. Offers the nozawaonsen local beer. We had a great time

Probably the best burger you can find in Nozawa onsen. The place is small but fun, the staff were pleasant and helpful (they adjsuted the menu for us and the kids in our group). The price not so cheap in absolute terms but in line with ski resort expectations.

Not very clean, not very friendlyI went there with some friends for burgers before leaving after a great trip in Nozawaonsen and got surprised by the unprofessional service. It look to me as it was operated by a few dudes wanting to make some quick money so they could go ski. Cans and cups were dirty, the ketchup bottles had mayonnaise on their caps. The staff cooking had long hairs without nets and operated cash and burgers interchangeably. I also had folks joking about my accent while ordering. Overall a terrible experience, and not so great food.

The mushroom veggie burger was perfect. A little too smokey up in this joint. Personally not a fan of having clothes smell like barbeque after a meal. Better ventilation system maybe?

Not the worst burger I've had but no idea how they rate this high. The reason for the 2 - Pretty dirty place and the nail in the coffin was the guy building the burgers handled dirty dishes and doing food prep with the same gloves.

Tried the Genki Burger, meat patty is flavourful and juicy. Good burger! Fries are thick and potato-ey too!

These boys certainly know their way around a burger. The trouble is their too busy, or their shop is too small. Business was booming but the poor chaps looked like they were at capacity. Great burger, fairly pressured environment though. Hope they find some way to manage their popularity.

Deeply satisfying burger.

This place was really dirty. The food itself was average I would say but after seeing the kitchen it felt kind if grosse to eat it. The cups for water were also all dirty. Would not recommend.

A good little burger joint if you're looking for western food. The wait times can be long and there is limited seating so plan ahead. The menu favours the Australian style of gourmet fillings rather than classic American burgers

Genki Burger is the best! The staff are super friendly and the burgers are amazing! It is the best pit stop after a day on the slopes!

We ordered the spicy beef burgers and they were delicious! Not super spicy but a little bit of heat. The staff were all very friendly and chatty which really added to the overall positive vibe. Would recommend and would come here again for sure!!

Omg. OMG. This place is the bomb. Had to go back three times to scoff all of their vegetarian options. Even though it might sound kind of weird the fried burdock root burger was the best (in my opinion) although the others were super delicious as well. If you’re hungover, or just looking for a great feed, Genki is the place to go.

Another great food option in Nosawa Onsen. Great burger menu + chips and some really good beers. Not a lot of space inside so best to get in early. Thanks boys for feeding the family a couple of times while on holidays!

Loved it! Great burgers and great fries. We visited several times during our trip to Nozawa.

Hands down the best burgers money can buy in nozawaonsen. The fries are also delicious. Not 5 stars because the actual establishment is small and it is hard to find a place to sit during peak hours. They do pack for takeaway if asked.

Great food!!

I had stopped by here twice and had two burgers. I had been in Japan for over the time limit for needing an american-style burger, and this little resturant filled the bill nicely. The burgers were extremely tasty and in fact, at the time tasted like to best I ever had. It’s run by Australians, as all the restaurants in the village seems to be, who were really great guys who had a lot of pride in their work servicing their delicious food. The fries, the plain ones, were the best. My advice is to not take out fries other than the plain ones, with no toppings, because the ones with toppings are a bit heavy and turned to mush when trying to share them with my son later in the night.

Excellent Burgers. Get the fire fries.

Of the 8 nights my partner and I stayed in Nozawa Onsen, we came here 4 times for dinner. I've had a lot of really tasty burgers in my travels and the burgers you get here are among the tastiest! The staff are super cheerful and friendly, up for a good chat if they aren't too busy... and the place does get very very busy at dinner time. They also have a small but quality selection of craft beer, as well as good old Asahi, some ciders and soft drinks. If I find myself at Nozawa Onsen again (which seems pretty likely) I'll definitely be back to have another succulent burger.

This place was so good, the burgers are a good size and very tasty.There isn't much seating area so prepare to have it to go.The staff we laid back and had a good taste in music. All english speaking staff.

Best burgers in town bye far!! Vego options available, choice of craft beers or local drinks to wash them down, fairly priced! Happy staff and good vibes to top it off, ill be back next time for sure!

Chicken burger was disgusting all crumb no chicken, chips were like eating cardboard. Burger fell apart. One of the the worst meals I've had, felt sick afterwards.

Came here before 4pm and the place was full. The restaurant could possibly squeeze around 15 pax.We had to sit outside while we waited for our food. It took about 10 minutes. The burgers are a good size and wasn’t overly messy. Start with their classic, however, we added a bacon and it was superb. The fat-cut fries are amazing too.

Fun atmosphere with staff who clearly loved the snow as much as me. Burgers were delicious. I will return!

Convenient little shop with a burger menu where each item is named after the pistes of the snow resort.It's nothing amazing, the burgers rely on sauce to be tasty, so when no sauce is used it's really quite average.The staff are helpful and attentive, it's not a bad restaurant, it has a comfy sort of feel.

An excellent burger in Nozawaonsen, and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. I read some reviews, which were mostly good, so gave it a try. The Abunai burger was delicious. The fries are also done really well. I recommend trying this place if you’re in the area.

Best burgers in Noszawa!

Got the Umami burger (beef, bacon, cream cheese, onions) with avocado on the side. I was on a low-carb so requested no-buns, and they happily helped make it into a skinny burger. It was so tasty, one of the best burgers I’ve had in Japan. We also tried the Szechuan Nuggets—so good! What a great place for dinner.

The abunai (spicy) burger was really delicious.

These are fantastic burgers and fries! I was skeptical to try western food in Japan but boy were those some amazing burgers. I only wish I had tried them again before I left but needed to keep immersing myself in the Japanese food culture. The staff were very friendly and made a great suggestion on beer, the Nozawa Onsen White. When I go back I'm coming here again!
